The Steel Structure of a Residential Building

The master's thesis deals with a project of the steel structure of a residential building. The building is thought like sevenfloor balcony-access house. The access balcony is situated in atrium in the middle of the building, which is roofed with a shell dome. The regular hexagon creates a ground plan of each floor. Every floor is turned 30 degrees compared to the next floors. The longest cross dimension is 43 m (axial). The height of the building is 30,4 m (including copula envelope). The final structure is chosen on the basis of optimization of the structural variants. The climatic load angle structure falls into the locality of the town Brno. The vertical supporting structure is made from steel-concrete accoupled circular section columns. The floor structure is designed from the steel rolled section I and H. These support assembly of a horizontal structure. Some joists and girder are designed like accoupled with a concrete floor slab. The copula above atrium is made from glue laminated timber ribs. Infill rods are from steel tube. The top ring of copula is designed from the rolled section UPE.

This thesis deals with design of steel structure multi-storey garage. It is the five-storey steel structure of rectangular plan. The construction is designed for the city of Olomouc. Static calculation is solved by a combination of manual calculation and calculation using software Scia engineer 18. There are the following main load bearing structural elements designed and examined in the structural analysis: truss, purlin, bracing, column, composite beam, joints, foot and anchoring. The Structure of the Atypical Family House in Vrchlabí

The subject of master’s thesis is design and assessment of steel load-bearing construction of atypical family house in Vrchlabí. Structure is designed as multi-storey steel structure, cooperating with stiff concrete core. The design was considered in four different options which combines possibility of using steel, steel and timber with different way of stiffness for whole structure. There is also composite steel-concrete alternative floor trimmer for selected option. Design and assessment was conducted in accordance with the applicable standards and by using software Scia Engineer.
Shopping center in Frýdek-Místek

The aim of the diploma thesis is to construct a steel shopping mall hall. The construction is located in Frýdek-Místek. The whole object can be divided in two parts. One part of the building is an atrium with a cross bridge made from glass. The roof construction of the atrium is designed as system of cylindrical lattice girders within purlins are set up. The other part of the construction is multistoried shopping mall with terrace designed as composite steel and concrete structure. The whole ground plan size of the construction is 72 m x 120 m. The height of the construction above the ground is 12.06 m. The cross-links are built up to 6 m one. There were created two versions of the construction. The most convenient version is described in more details. The outcome of the thesis is a comparison of two above mentioned versions. The whole project is based on officially recognised standard ČSN EN. The construction was designed in RFEM programme.
Static verification and variant design of load-carrying structures of administrative center

The aim of this thesis was to develop assessments of existing supporting structure of a rectangular object and design of new options for rectangular and cylindrical object administrative center in the Jihomoravská plynárenská, a.s. in Brno. According to the task have been recalculated construction and design of new structures in accordance with applicable standards. New design of both buildings (rectangular and cylindrical) came from several studies.

The subject of this thesis is to design the main supporting structure of the parking house in the city of Olomouc. The object has 7 storeys and rectangural dimensions are 57,2m x 37,0m. The height of the structure is 19,2m. The hall is designed by cylindrical roof. Processed design option is a composite steel-concrete floor slab.
Multi-storey building

The object of this thesis is to design and assess steel structure of multi-storey office center in Vsetín. Floor plan dimensions of building are 48x40m. The building has ten floors. Overall height is 35,5m. The building ceilings made of composite steel and concrete structure. The part of build are roofer atrium and one bigger room aula with dimensions 24x16m. Two construction variants were designed and assessed. Longitudinal and transverse rigity of variant A is ensured by truss bracing. Transverse rigity of variant B is ensured by truss bracing and longitudinal rigity is braced by bracing frames. The variant A is better.
The Office Centre in Vimperk

The aim of the thesis is the design and the assessment of an administrative center in Vimperk. The building is divided into three height levels, the highest has 7 floors. The building is rectangular floor plan with dimensions of 102,5 x 48,0 m. The construction is designed as framing with truss roofing, bracing and purlins for attaching sheathing.
Administrative Centre

This diploma thesis deals with the design and assessment of the steel structure of the administrative building. The building is situated in Svitavy. The construction has several floors, the ground plan is L-shaped. Other floors have a rectangular ground plan. The external ground plan dimensions of the building are 55.2 m × 72 m. The building has terraces and three height levels occupied. At the first height level the building reaches 5 floors, the other 7 floors and the top 9 floors. the main material will be S235 steel on the construction.
